An Italian Heart. An American Journey. A Lifetime of Hospitality.

Welcome to my Italy.

My name is Antonio, and I would like to personally welcome you to Ciao Vino Touring Company.

I was born and raised in Southern Italy, in a land where food is more than nourishment, wine is more than a beverage, and hospitality is more than a profession.

It is a way of life.

For as long as I can remember, I have believed that some of life's most meaningful moments happen around a table.

A wonderful meal.

A good bottle of wine.

An interesting conversation.

The laughter of friends and family.

These simple pleasures have shaped my life, my professional career, and ultimately, the philosophy behind Ciao Vino.

After spending nearly four decades in the United States, I returned to my beloved Italy to begin a new chapter.

And today, I would like to share that chapter with you.

MY JOURNEY BEGAN IN ITALY

Where a Passion Became a Profession.

My professional journey began in Italy, where I studied the culinary arts and earned my chef's diploma at the age of twenty.

From those early years, I developed a deep appreciation for the traditions of Italian cuisine and the importance of preparing food with care, respect, and passion.

But I also learned something equally important.

Great hospitality is not simply about what we serve.

It is about how we make people feel.

A beautiful meal becomes unforgettable when it is accompanied by warmth, generosity, attention to detail, and genuine human connection.

That philosophy would guide me throughout my career.

And eventually, it would take me far beyond the shores of Italy.

FORTY YEARS IN AMERICA

Building a Career. Building Relationships. Creating Memories.

As a young man, I moved to the United States, where I would spend approximately four decades building my professional life.

Much of that journey unfolded in Fort Collins, Colorado, a community that became an important part of my life.

Over the years, I worked as a chef, restaurateur, entrepreneur, restaurant manager, and hospitality consultant.

My professional responsibilities extended far beyond the kitchen.

I became involved in restaurant operations, management, staff development, customer service, menu creation, wine programs, and the many details required to operate successful hospitality businesses.

I learned that running a restaurant is not simply about preparing excellent food.

It requires leadership, organization, consistency, attention to detail, and, above all, a genuine commitment to the guest experience.

But when I look back on those years, the memories I treasure most are not simply the businesses I operated or the professional challenges I overcame.

They are the people.

The customers who became regular guests.

The regular guests who became friends.

The employees and colleagues who became part of my extended family.

The countless conversations, celebrations, dinners, and friendships that made those years so meaningful.

America gave me extraordinary opportunities, valuable experiences, and lifelong relationships.

And for that, I will always be grateful.

TWO CULTURES. ONE PHILOSOPHY.

American Professionalism Meets Authentic Italian Hospitality.

Living and working in the United States for so many years gave me a unique perspective.

I learned to appreciate the expectations of American guests: professionalism, reliability, organization, clear communication, and excellent customer service.

At the same time, I never lost my Italian roots.

My love for traditional cuisine.

My appreciation for regional wines.

My fascination with history.

My connection to the Mediterranean.

And my belief that hospitality should always come from the heart.

Today, I bring these two worlds together, combining the professionalism and service standards I developed in America with the warmth, authenticity, and traditions of my native Italy.

This combination is at the heart of Ciao Vino Touring Company.

I understand what American travelers expect because I spent much of my life living and working among them.

And I understand Southern Italy because it is where my story began.

THE DECISION TO RETURN HOME

Sometimes Life Brings Us Back to Where We Belong.

After many wonderful years in America, life brought me to an important crossroads.

Following the passing of my father, I made the decision to return to Italy to spend time with my mother and be close to my family.

It was a deeply personal decision.

But it also gave me the opportunity to rediscover the extraordinary beauty of the place I have always called home.

Bacoli.

The Campi Flegrei.

The Bay of Naples.

The Mediterranean Sea.

The ancient history, the local traditions, the neighborhood restaurants, the markets, the vineyards, and the people.

Places and experiences that had been part of my childhood suddenly took on an even deeper meaning.

I began to realize how fortunate I was to know this extraordinary part of the world so intimately.

And I started thinking about all the American friends, customers, and acquaintances who had told me over the years that they dreamed of visiting Italy.

I wanted them to experience more than the famous landmarks.

I wanted them to discover the Italy I knew.

The real Italy.

The Italy of family traditions, authentic food, local wines, ancient history, extraordinary landscapes, and genuine friendships.

That desire became the inspiration for a new adventure.

WHY I CREATED CIAO VINO

Sharing the Italy I Know and Love.

Ciao Vino Touring Company represents the natural continuation of everything I have learned throughout my life.

My culinary education in Italy.

My decades of experience in the American hospitality industry.

My passion for food and wine.

My love for history and culture.

My relationships with people on both sides of the Atlantic.

And my deep connection to Southern Italy.

I created Ciao Vino because I believe travel should be personal.

I believe visitors should have opportunities to experience a destination beyond the traditional tourist attractions.

I believe that a meal in a family-owned restaurant can be just as memorable as a visit to a famous monument.

That meeting a local winemaker can reveal something extraordinary about a region's history and traditions.

That discovering a small coastal village can become one of the highlights of an entire vacation.

And that the people we meet along the way often become our most treasured memories.

Ciao Vino is my invitation to experience Southern Italy through the eyes of someone who calls it home.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT WHEN YOU TRAVEL WITH ME

Personal Attention. Authentic Experiences. Genuine Hospitality.

When you join a Ciao Vino experience, I want you to feel comfortable, welcomed, and appreciated.

I want you to discover the places I love.

To enjoy the restaurants and culinary traditions that make our region special.

To learn about the history that surrounds us.

To taste the wines of our territory.

To meet local people and experience the warmth of Southern Italian hospitality.

And, perhaps most importantly, I want you to feel that you are traveling with someone who genuinely cares about your experience.

Our journeys are designed for small groups because I believe personal attention makes an enormous difference.

I want to get to know my guests, understand their interests, share stories, answer questions, enjoy meaningful conversations, and create the kind of atmosphere that transforms a vacation into a truly personal and memorable experience.

Professional organization and careful planning are essential.

But genuine hospitality is what makes a journey extraordinary.

MY PROMISE TO YOU

Hospitality Is Not Just My Profession. It Is My Passion.

Throughout my career, I have always believed in one simple principle:

"People may forget what they saw, but they will never forget how they were treated."

That belief has guided me through decades of working with guests, employees, colleagues, and friends.

And it remains the foundation of Ciao Vino Touring Company.

My promise is to bring the same dedication, professionalism, integrity, and personal attention that have guided me throughout my hospitality career to every Ciao Vino experience.

I want every guest to feel valued.

Every experience to feel meaningful.

And every journey to leave behind wonderful memories.

Because, at the end of the day, hospitality is not simply about providing a service.

It is about creating a connection.

COME EXPERIENCE MY ITALY

I Look Forward to Welcoming You.

After a lifetime dedicated to hospitality, I am grateful for the opportunity to begin this new chapter in the country where my journey started.

I have traveled, worked, and experienced many wonderful places throughout my life.

But there is something about Italy that has always remained close to my heart.

Its history.

Its beauty.

Its food and wine.

Its traditions.

And, above all, its people.

Now, through Ciao Vino Touring Company, I have the opportunity to share these extraordinary experiences with you.

Whether this is your first journey to Italy or you are returning to discover something new, I hope you will allow me to introduce you to the Southern Italy I know and love.

I look forward to meeting you, sharing a wonderful meal, enjoying a glass of wine, and creating memories together.

Until then, arrivederci!
